In partnership with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia & Herzegovina, WYLN sent over 100 computers to schools in rural areas of the country. We believe that, in the post-war reconstruction and rebuilding phase of B&H, it is imperative that young students in remote villages have access to the Internet so they can have the opportunity to reach their full potential and, in the process, be an even stronger resource for the future of the county.
Some villages where computers were donated even lacked phone lines. However, thanks to the efforts of Safet Halilovic, Minister of Civil Affairs and B&H Post Agency, phone service has been extended to these villages and their residents have both improved communications and access to the Internet.
