In July 2017, WYLN’s Mariette Hagglund visited the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI) where she spent a month working with the Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF). She spent time in Mosul helping deliver humanitarian supplies to Mosuli’s.
Mariette also met with a number of officials from the Kurdistan Regional Government, NGO organizations, and with BCF’s Awat Mustafa, contributed a chapter to the upcoming publication dedicated to the KRI.
