Jasmin Mahmuzic was born in Sarajevo in 1973. He graduated with the degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Sarajevo and holds a Masters degree in Economics from the same University. He received his MBA degree at the University of Delaware. With the grant from the U.S. State Department in 1999, Mr. Mahmuzic furthered his studies in Criminal Justice at the University of Dayton. During his time in Ohio, Mr. Mahmuzic was recognized both by the Dayton Police Chief and the Mayor of City of Dayton.
Mr. Mahmuzic has worked for the World Bank in Tuzla, Bosnia & Herzegovina, on a fiscal implementation program. In 2003, he became a security officer at the OSCE Mission in Bosnia & Herzegovina. In 2005, he became a Junior Prosecutor/Investigator at the Office of the High Representative in Sarajevo. In 2006, Mr. Mahmuzic was appointed Investigator at the office of Registry to support the Court Prosecutor Office of Bosnia & Herzegovina. Currently, Mr. Mahmuzic is a member of the Board of MIMS Group and an executive director of Polet Inc., a printing and packaging company under the MIMS group umbrella.
Mr. Mahmuzic is a member of the Board of the America–Bosnia Cultural Foundation in Bosnia & Herzegovina and a member of the Advisory Board of the World Youth Leadership Network.
He currently lives and works in Sarajevo. Mr. Mahmuzic is married and has one daughter.
